Inside Iran by Mark Edward Harris

One thing I love about SFSU’s bookstore is the variety of photography/art books they have available for viewing (not shrink wrapped). I stumbled upon this book last week and I’ve been thinking about it ever since.

I didn’t spend tons of time looking it over but what I saw was memorable. The colors in the photos are unforgettably vibrant and the pictures of people and landscapes are equally compelling.

I doubt I will ever see Iran with my own eyes due to the travel risks involved but I can admire the culture, the landscapes and the people from afar thanks to books like this one.

That’s a very compelling cover, I gotta say. That’s one country I know so very little about.
